Call Handler
Call Handler – Fixed Term Contract (2 Positions) 🌟
About the Role
A clean-tech manufacturer committed to making the planet greener, myenergi is shaping the future of smart, sustainable homes. specialises in award-winning EV chargers and intelligent energy management solutions, enabling customers to control, store, and optimise their self-generated power.
We’re growing rapidly and fostering an innovative, mission-driven culture. Now, we need 2x dedicated Call Handlers—fixed-term until September 2026—to influence a greener future by empowering our customers to take control of their energy.
This role requires clear communication, resilience, and a passion for putting people first. As the first point of contact, you’ll triage calls efficiently, improving processes while delivering exceptional customer support.
Key Responsibilities
- first contacteverything is done professionally, efficiently, and respectfully.
- Listen actively to identify call reasons and prioritise next steps.
- Avoid creating duplicate tickets if an existing case exists.
- fast yet polite triage:
- Route calls to the appropriate team or queue quickly, ensuring proper redirecting.
- Use tried-and-tested scripts, guidance, and macros for consistency.
- Provide clear explanations without overpromising; manage customer expectations smartly.
- Offer guidelines and solutions where self-service is suitable; escalate only when essential.
- Give callers a structured, seamless handoff—wherever possible, prevent repeat questions while handing off to internal teams.

- Maintain efficiency while upholding outstanding customer experience due to proactive handling.
- multichannel support:
- Escalate calls involving vulnerable customers, abusive behavior, or serious complaints per protocol.
- Collaborate with Product Support, Service, and Operations teams for continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications and Experience
- Strong talent for written & spoken communication when interacting with customers.
- The knack to stay composed under pressure—multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional listening skills—accurates, gathers information quickly, and understands nuances.
- Surgical-level attention to detail and ability to spot gaps for resolution.
- Thrives on a track record of observance—analyzes communication nuances and customer needs.
- Prior knowledge of CRM (Zendesk, Aircall+) & ticketing systems, which can be a plus!
- Technical affinity—job experience in IT, software, or engineering would be advantageous.
- **Applicable knowledge **for context (helpful bonus): my Energi products like zappi charger, eddi battery, libbi integration hub, harvi solar power solution—and how EV charging or home energy systems function.
Preferred experience (ignites path marks it a plus!):
- Prior roles in customer contact centres, triage, technical support, or escalation handling.
- Understanding of energy technology, smart home systems, or customer complaint-handling protocols.
