The role
If you enjoy working with vehicles, technology, problem-solving and being out on the road — this could be the role for you!
This is an exciting and hands-on position, ideal for someone with experience in vehicle CCTV, fleet management, telematics, vehicle connectivity or automotive electrical systems. You will work closely with customers, ensuring our solutions are installed and maintained to the highest standard while delivering excellent customer service at all times.

This is a field-based role where no two days look the same.
You’ll be joining a growing national engineering team supporting enterprise customers across the UK while working with some of the latest fleet and vehicle safety technology in the market.

What you'll do
Working within a fast-paced Operations team, you will be responsible for:
- Carrying out service and maintenance activities for our enterprise customer base.
- Installing, servicing, and maintaining vehicle CCTV, blind spot detection systems, vehicle safety systems, fleet tracking and telematics solutions across commercial and light-duty vehicles.
- Developing a strong understanding of CameraMatics products and how they add value to our customers’ businesses.
- Managing and maintaining van stock holdings effectively.
- Supporting auditing and quality control processes to ensure high installation and service standards.
- Delivering excellent customer service and building strong relationships with customers.
- Working independently using your own initiative, while also contributing effectively as part of a wider team.
- Maintaining clear and professional written and verbal communication with customers and internal stakeholders.

What we're looking for
Essential
- Experience working with automotive electrical 12VDC and 24VDC systems.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in automotive electrical testing and installation.
- Experience working in customer-facing roles.
- HGV/LCV experience and a genuine passion for working with vehicles.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive, motivated, and customer-focused approach.
Desirable
- Experience working with vehicle CCTV and telematics systems.
- Familiarity with fleet management technologies and vehicle connectivity solutions.
- Experience working in a field-based engineering role.
