Fife Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) - CAMHS Senior Nurse Therapist

Fife Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) is seeking an enthusiastic and suitably qualified individual to take on the role of CAMHS Senior Nurse Therapist within CAMHS Urgent Response Team (CURT).

This post will enhance the current provision for children and young people who, as a result of their mental health, present with acute and significant risk and require urgent specialist assessment and treatment. You will join a well-established team with the aim of providing effective and timely community/hospital-based assessments and therapeutic interventions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage an individual caseload
  • Assess and deliver a range of therapeutic interventions on an individual, family, and group basis to children and young people with a wide range of mental health difficulties
  • Work autonomously in a wide variety of hospital and community settings

Requirements

  • Qualified as a Registered Mental Health Nurse
  • Evidence of continuous professional development
  • Skills and competencies normally associated with relevant experience in a Child & Adolescent Mental Health setting
  • Ability to respond to the needs of the service and the locality, which will include the ability to travel across Fife and wider as required
