Technical Administrator (DEA UK CAMO Department)
About the Role The Technical Administrator provides essential administrative and operational support within the DEA UK CAMO department. This key role delivers vital regulatory and technical administration to ensure continuous fleet airworthiness.
The ideal candidate will:
- Manage precision data entry and archiving, updating flight hours, cycles, and component changes in the DEA Airworthiness IT System.
- Audit physical and digital tech logs, pilot sector records, and completed work packs to ensure 100% compliance with Part-CAMO standards.
- Issue formal maintenance work packs.
- Maintain the technical library by distributing aircraft manual updates and regulatory notices.
- Provide administrative support to the CAMO department and wider DEA team.
The administrator will apply AI tools (e.g., Gemini) daily to:
- Sort and clean up log information.
- Identify maintenance patterns for data-driven decision-making.
- Simplify complex tasks through automation.
Core Responsibilities
Core Records and Regulatory Administration

Data Entry & Archiving Upload and update flight hours, cycles, and component changes into systems like Veryon Tracking+ and Centrik.

Logbook & Work Pack Auditing Systematic review of:
- Physical and digital tech logs.
- Pilot sector records.
- Completed maintenance work packs. Ensuring strict compliance with aviation regulations.

- Adopt AI-driven quality checks to automatically:
- Locate key information.
- Draft summaries of repetitive defects.
- Reformat unstructured text into rational records.
- Serve as a hub between CAMO team, flight operations, and maintenance crews for efficient paperwork transfer.

- Future-proof expertise in Veryon Tracking+ (with the ability to mentor others).
- Exposure to regulated environments such as aviation, logistics, law, or healthcare.
- Foundational knowledge of aircraft systems or maintenance workflows.
- Familiarity with:
- Aviation tracking software.
- Digital archiving systems.
- Part-CAMO operations.
- Advanced G Suite or Microsoft Office proficiency: documents, spreadsheets, presentations.
- UK driving licence.
