Campaign Strategist
Permanent | Hybrid (Manchester) | £45,000–£60,000

An established and growing marketing business is looking to appoint a Campaign Strategist to join its team in a newly created role.

This position is suited to someone who enjoys developing campaign ideas and marketing strategy, working closely with account management and delivery teams to ensure campaigns are commercially focused, well planned and clearly briefed.

This is a strategic role rather than a delivery role. You'll be responsible for shaping campaigns, defining objectives and providing direction, while specialist teams execute the work.

Responsibilities

  • Develop campaign strategies across a portfolio of client accounts.
  • Produce clear campaign briefs covering objectives, audience, messaging and delivery.
  • Work with account managers to identify campaign opportunities and priorities.
  • Provide strategic direction to creative and campaign delivery teams.
  • Review campaign concepts and ensure they align with client objectives.
  • Plan campaigns with an understanding of team capacity and delivery timelines.
  • Keep up to date with marketing trends and identify opportunities to improve campaign performance.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
