Campus Cleaning Services oversees cleaning across:
- 7,076 campus bedrooms
- 479 hotel rooms
- 65 University buildings
The Opportunity
We seek a supervisor to join Campus Cleaning Services (Residential) within the Estates Department. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing, organising, and leading a team of Cleaning Assistants
- Ensuring an effective and efficient cleaning service across the University campus
Working Hours & Schedule
- 36.5 hours per week, working 5 days per week (including Saturdays & Sundays on rota)
- Typical hours:
- Monday, Tuesday, Friday: 08:30–16:00
- Wednesday: 08:30–17:00
- Thursday: 08:30–16:30
- Saturday & Sunday: Hours vary as required
About You
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in managing a team
- Health and Safety knowledge (basic level relevant to the role)
- IT proficiency, with expertise in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Strong interpersonal skills: friendly, approachable, and capable of leading meetings with confidence
- Commitment to teamwork and delivering excellent customer service to students, staff, and visitors
