An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Campus Director to lead the delivery and operational oversight of a major hyperscale data centre campus.
The successful candidate will assume full responsibility for the strategic direction, operational performance, commercial success, and client relationships across a multi-building campus environment, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality.
Acting as the senior leadership presence across the campus, you will provide direction and support to Project Directors, Construction Directors, Commercial Leads, and functional teams while maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, and key supply chain partners.
This is a critical leadership position requiring an individual capable of operating at both strategic and operational levels whilst managing the complexities associated with large-scale mission-critical programmes.
The Role
As Campus Director, you will hold overall responsibility for the successful delivery and performance of a major data centre campus, overseeing multiple projects, phases, and delivery teams simultaneously.
You will ensure alignment across programme, commercial, safety, quality, commissioning, and client objectives whilst maintaining consistency of delivery standards across the campus.

Key Responsibilities
Campus Leadership & Strategy
- Provide overall leadership and direction across the campus delivery organisation.
- Develop and implement campus-wide delivery strategies aligned with business and client objectives.
- Create a high-performance culture focused on safety, quality, and client satisfaction.
- Ensure consistency of delivery standards and operational excellence across all project phases.
Project Delivery Oversight
- Maintain executive oversight of programme, cost, quality, and risk across all projects within the campus.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within approved budgets.
- Support project teams in resolving complex technical, commercial, and delivery challenges.
- Lead intervention and recovery plans where required.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the senior point of contact for the client and key stakeholders across the campus.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hyperscale customers, consultants, and delivery partners.
- Lead executive reviews, steering committees, and strategic planning meetings.
- Ensure delivery aligns with client expectations and long-term business objectives.

Commercial & Financial Performance
- Maintain oversight of campus financial performance, forecasts, and risk exposure.
- Review commercial performance across all projects and phases.
- Support contract negotiations, claims management, and change control processes.
- Ensure commercial objectives and margin targets are achieved.
Health, Safety & Quality
- Champion world-class safety performance across the campus.
- Promote a proactive safety culture and ensure compliance with all legislation and company standards.
- Ensure quality assurance processes are embedded throughout delivery.
- Support continuous improvement and lessons learned initiatives.
Operational Excellence
- Drive best practice across project delivery, commissioning, and handover activities.
- Promote innovation, digital construction, and efficient delivery methodologies.
- Ensure knowledge sharing and standardisation across project teams.
- Support the adoption of new technologies and delivery solutions.
People Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop senior project leadership teams across the campus.
- Support succession planning and talent development initiatives.
- Foster collaboration between functions and delivery teams.
- Act as a visible and approachable leader across all project locations.
