Salary: £29,172 – £35,464 per annum

About the Role
As Campus Experience and Security Supervisor, you’ll play a vital role in shaping the daily experiences of students, staff, and visitors by maintaining a positive, safe, and well-organised environment. This role blends front-of-house duties with operational, security, and administrative responsibilities.
What You’ll Do
Core Responsibilities
- Be the key point of contact on campus, providing a professional and inclusive welcome to students, staff, visitors, contractors, and industry guests.
- Offer clear information and guidance to help everyone navigate campus services and facilities.
- Maintain a visible and engaging presence to enhance the overall campus environment.
- Lead the secure opening and closing of buildings while adhering to agreed procedures.
- Monitor and manage access control, ensuring safe and appropriate access policies.
- Manage visitor sign-in processes and issue access passes in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records through visitor, key management, and related systems.
- Assist with emergency procedures, including evacuations and routine system checks.
- Identify and escalate any concerns related to facilities, safety, or security.
- Coordinate deliveries to ensure timely and accurate receipt, logging, and distribution.
- Support student ID card services, including processing new applications and replacements.

Requirements
Personal Attributes and Skills
- Relevant experience in front-of-house, reception, security, or customer-facing roles.
- A calm, approachable demeanour with the ability to confidently engage with diverse individuals.
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Excellent organisational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with systems and the ability to maintain accurate records.
- An understanding of health, safety, and safeguarding considerations in a public-facing environment.
- Solid judgement and the independence to operate within established guidelines.
