MDT Co-ordinator at East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust
An exciting opportunity has arisen to apply for the role of an MDT Co-ordinator at East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust.
Do you have excellent administration skills, a good eye for detail and the tenacity to ‘go that extra mile’ and be the ‘backstage navigator’ representing patients who have been referred to hospital on a suspected cancer pathway?
It is essential that all patients referred to hospital by their GP with a suspicion of cancer have every stage of their journey tracked daily, to make sure that they receive a timely diagnosis (within 28 days) and those patients found to have cancer, commence treatment within 62 days of being referred into the Trust.
Being referred to hospital for investigations to rule out cancer can be a very worrying time for patients and their families.
Provisional Interview Date
20TH JULY 2026
This is a highly responsible role where strong attention to detail is essential to ensure all administrative tasks are completed promptly and nothing is overlooked. MDT Coordinators play a vital behind-the-scenes role in the patient journey. Clinicians depend on them to coordinate the weekly Cancer MDT meetings, during which patient cases are reviewed and treatment plans agreed upon.
The MDT Coordinator is responsible for accurately recording discussions and outcomes, ensuring all agreed actions are followed up for each patient discussed. They also maintain accurate and timely PTL tracking information, which supports operational teams in managing patient pathways effectively.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
