Candidate Assessment & Interview Specialist

Are you passionate about helping people achieve their potential?

We're looking for confident communicators and customer-focused individuals to join our Assessment Centre team in Pirbright. In this unique role, you'll guide candidates through a critical stage of their journey into the British Army, helping them understand their strengths, assessment outcomes and potential career options.

Working as part of one of the UK's largest and most diverse recruitment operations, you'll play a key role in delivering an inclusive, professional and positive candidate experience while supporting the recruitment of future Army personnel.

This is a full-time, on-site role. It includes overnight chaperone and ‘on call’ duties once per week, plus one working weekend per month (Saturday and Sunday).

Job Description

What you’ll be doing:

This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You'll:

  • Conduct one-to-one career discussions and candidate interviews
  • Deliver assessment activities under controlled test conditions
  • Assess candidate performance against set criteria
  • Provide clear, balanced and constructive feedback
  • Help candidates understand suitable Army career pathways
  • Accurately record assessment outcomes and reports
