What the role is
Job Title
Working Hours: 32.5 hours, Monday – Friday, Part Time
Contract Type: Permanent
Location: Lytham St Annes
To provide a food and beverage service to the Jubilee House community from the Canteen, throughout the working week. This role will help to support the success of business within Jubilee House by providing a food and beverage service during core office hours. The team are responsible for the running and upkeep of Jubilee House (and other properties) to the highest standard ensuring that the space we offer is desirable and fully utilised.
To deliver a high-quality professional food and drinks service that does not compromise on quality, ensuring the Canteen attracts, builds and retains enough custom to secure its long-term sustainability.
- Prepare, cook and serve breakfast items, a small menu of hot & light snacks daily to the people working within and visiting Jubilee House to ensure repeat custom and increase the number of service users.
- Prepare and serve Starbucks drinks, in line with their brand's quality & standards, maintaining a positive brand image.
- Maintain high standards of quality and hygiene, whilst actively building and maintaining our customer base to ensure income covers expenditure.
- Protect safe working practices by adhering to Food Standards Agency (FSA) requirements and building confidence among customers in the service provided.
- Proactively monitor and manage stock levels/rotation to ensure we can serve the right products at the right time, by taking ownership of ordering stock in line with our usage and budget.
- Have initiative and make decisions that are right for our customers, taking ownership of customer feedback by regularly offering suggestions on how we can improve our service.
- Demonstrate exceptional timekeeping and reliability, with the ability to work under pressure.
- Responsible for keeping the Canteen and communal seating area clean and tidy.

Expected Salary
What Skills are required
- GCSE passes including Math and English at grade C or above are desirable
- Food Hygiene Certificate desirable
- Allergen Awareness desirable
