About the Capacity Planning Team
The Capacity Planning Team provides AMZL with cost-optimal and flexible capacity solutions for in-station operations, year-round and enabling the business to scale for seasonal peak demand increases. This role is based out of the London corporate office (LHR140). The ideal candidate is passionate about leveraging data to deliver actionable insights that impact daily business, has a strong delivery record, and is experienced in driving execution in a cross-functional environment, backed by analysis and data. They thrive in a fast-paced environment, relish working with large amounts of data, and enjoys the challenge of solving highly complex, and sometimes ambiguous problems.
Role Overview
As a Planning Manager in the Capacity Planning Team, you will be working on the weekly cadence for the generation of labor plans for AMZL delivery stations to make sure the organization is well prepared for the future. You will analyze execution gaps to improve future plans. You will work cross-functionally and build key relationships to ensure that decisions are made and action. Which enables the AMZL operations to run as effectively as possible. You will challenge the unknown and strive for continuous improvement in key areas of our business.

Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of labor planning as soon as you start.
- Exercise sound judgment, ensuring plans are realistic and achievable.

Requirements
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics, computer science, operations research, business analytics, information systems, or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or equivalent spreadsheet tools.
- Experience working with data warehousing, data quality.
- Experience in root cause analysis and troubleshooting or problem solving.
- Experience in English-language communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with operations/supply chain.
- Experience with VBA, Python, SQL, or other database language.
- Experience with workforce planning.
- Experience in transportation and supply chain.
