About the role: Join our Capital Markets Accounting Advisory & Structuring team to advise clients on the accounting, company law and capital markets issues. As a Capital Markets Advisory Services (CMAS) Senior Manager, you will work in dynamic teams directly for senior stakeholders at a range of clients across industry sectors in the UK & around the world. We are a solution-oriented business within the Deals Line of Service, working alongside other parts of the firm (such as M&A Tax) and other professional advisors to provide technical expertise on accounting, structuring, and capital markets considerations across the CMAS business. We deliver our projects working in small teams with a flat structure, owning planning, budgeting and execution across multiple workstreams, meaning you will work closely with partners and directors in CMAS and other areas of PwC, whilst leading, managing, and coaching junior colleagues. You will partner with CMAS and Deals leadership to ensure collective accountability for quality, timelines and deliverables, and you will exemplify our purpose and values with integrity and authenticity. What your days will look like: Leading multiple workstreams and teams, advising on a variety of engagements delivering innovative reports and presentations Taking ownership for project planning, budgeting, execution and successful completion of design solutions to achieve optimal outcome for clients, navigating capital market and other transactions Managing client accounts and relationships, including strategic account planning, pipeline development and identification of opportunities that contribute to the firm’s success, driving growth Advising on transformational events including IPOs and other equity offerings, debt offerings and private placements, acquisitions and alliances, post-deal accounting, restructurings, restatements and bankruptcies, and GAAP conversions (including IFRS–US GAAP considerations) This role is for you if: You hold an ACA Qualification (or international equivalent) You have strong technical accounting skills, with experience in IFRS (and ideally UK GAAP) You have a keen interest in transactions & technical accounting and have a commitment to upholding professional standards and independence requirements, and to leading with integrity and authenticity Good client management skills including the ability to support relationships with senior stakeholders & demonstrate advising on complex accounting and capital market topics, including offerings and post-deal reporting Strong commercial mindset, strong project management skills & fluency with technology-enabled deliver – including the application of digital tools and data to enhance engagement execution Demonstrated experience leading teams and multiple workstreams in a professional services environment, with accountability for quality, timelines and deliverables What you’ll receive from us: No matter where you may be in your career or personal life, our benefits are designed to add value and support, recognising and rewarding you fairly for your contributions.
