Capital Markets Data Associate

Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical professional to lead portfolio monitoring and pricing decisions, working closely with cross-functional teams, including Commercial, Risk, and Capital. The ideal candidate will have a strong strategic mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to balance commercial objectives, risk tolerance, and financial outcomes to drive optimal pricing strategies.
The Capital Market team is responsible for managing relationships with institutional investors that deploy capital via the YouLend platform; track performances of the investment mandates; identify early trends in the market to take relevant actions; deploy and report on the individual portfolios.
Key Responsibilities
Monitoring portfolio performance across products and vintages, ensuring alignment with capital mandates and covenant requirements, and identifying trends, risks, and return drivers to inform pricing and portfolio decisions Automating financial models and manual reporting processes while upholding data accuracy, and working closely with internal team members to solidify the financial model assumptions supporting our investment offering Assumeing ownership of external client data requests and inquiries, including ongoing trouble shooting and tie-outs Liaising with Technology, Data and Operations leadership to ensure alignment on project objectives, deliverables, requirements, and status updates

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field 3+ years of experience in Investment Banking, Private Credit, Fintech or a similar Industry Proven experience collaborating across multiple business units Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in financial modelling and SQL Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence and align cross-functional teams Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python) and familiarity with business intelligence software Desirable skills: Experience in cashflow modelling In-depth domain expertise in the structured finance and securitised products space at an institutional level across any asset class Ability to work independently and in a small team Comfort with ambiguity You are independent, ambitious, and self-motivated and looking to make an impact
