Capital Project Manager
About the Company
Parkwood Leisure is seeking a dedicated Project Manager to lead fast paced leisure construction, refurbishment, and fit out projects across a diverse portfolio, including leisure centres, sports complexes, theatres, and golf courses.
About the Role
You will be responsible for end to end project delivery, ensuring our leisure facilities meet high brand standards. This role focuses on balancing complex live environment logistics, strict aesthetic requirements, and aggressive timelines without disrupting ongoing operations.
Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Delivery: Own the end to end execution of projects, maintaining detailed master schedules and formulating phasing plans to minimise operational disruption.
- Stakeholder & Client Management: Act as the primary liaison between clients, brand representatives, operations teams, and 3rd party consultants architects, engineers.
- Financial & Commercial Control: Govern project P&L, monitor capital spend, oversee procurement, including long lead time equipment and FF&E, and manage commercial risks by ensuring proper contractual documentation.
- Quality, Safety & Compliance: Maintain rigorous zero defect quality control, ensure compliance with the Building Safety Act, CDM regulations, and health and safety standards.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management preferred.
- Relevant certifications PMP, PRINCE2, or chartered status like CIOB, RICS and safety credentials IOSH, NEBOSH, or SMSTS are highly desirable.
Required Skills
- Strong background in leisure-specific MEP installations, including pool plant and HVAC.
Preferred Skills
- Proven ability in fast track delivery, commercial negotiation, and navigating complex design site conflicts.
Pay Range and Compensation Package
- Salary £47,500 to £52,000
