CAR DEALERSHIP Retail Trainer
SALARY: £50,000 Per annum + bonus and cars and other excellent benefits
LOCATION: Scotland and the North
This is no ordinary CAR RETAIL DEALER training role. This is a genuinely exciting one-off opportunity to introduce a brand-new premium car brand into the UK market. This car is being positioned as a top-of-the-range, elegant, design-led, technology-focused EV brand and is aimed at customers who want premium styling and innovation. Because it is a brand-new launch, you won't simply inherit an existing training programme - you will help build it. This role is stunning and one in which you will be a specialist trainer teaching dealership staff how to sell this car successfully. This will involve ensuring dealers understanding the product and how to present the technology, how to handle customer concerns as well making the sales process experiential so that the customer service scores highly. The role combines classroom training, dealership coaching, and field visits.
The role:
- Travelling all over the UK to attend dealer launch events
- Delivering in-person classroom training as well as virtual webinars
- Undertaking mystery shopping follow-ups to training
- As the expert on this car, dealers will look to you for guidance
- You will work closely with Dealer Principals, Sales Managers, Sales Executives, Regional Sales Managers, and Marketing teams
- Delivery of in-person (or remote) Product training, using role play
- Explaining the sales process to the dealers
- Creating virtual webinars for dealers
- Creating e-learning content, and tailoring coaching for dealerships that need additional support
- Writing new training programmes
- Reviewing CSI results
- Discussing mystery shopping feedback

REQUIREMENTS
- Happy to travel extensively around the UK
- Previous experience training dealership staff, ideally for an OEM (manufacturer) or a franchised dealer group
- EV automotive background
- Experience using digital learning platforms and content creation tools (e.g., LMS, Articulate, MS Office)
