Lindum Group is a family-run business operating as a successful Construction company since 1956. We provide a range of construction services from new build, refurbishment and maintenance projects to construction-related services such as plant hire, security, roofing, and waste recycling. We currently have over 630 direct employees on our sites, in our workshops, and company offices in Lincoln, Peterborough, and York.
Lindum Plant Division
Our Lindum Plant division is one of the county’s leading specialists providing a one-stop shop for plant and small tool hire as well as maintenance, repairs, servicing, and MOT testing for a diverse range of vehicles and equipment, from cars and vans to LGVs and plant machinery. We have two workshops and a tyre bay at our main site in Lincoln, as well as a workshop at our Business Park in Peterborough.

Car / Light Vehicle Mechanic Opportunity
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Car / Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our dedicated team in Lincoln:
- Candidates must have sound technical knowledge and experience with car / light vehicle maintenance and repair including fault diagnosis, MOT preparation, and safety inspection.
- A full driving licence is essential, including category B+E.
- An industry-recognised qualification such as NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent) is preferred.
- MOT testing qualification would also be an advantage, although not essential.
The role is full-time (basic hours are 7.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday) plus overtime as required. You will also be required to cover the weekend rota and out-of-hours call-out rota.
Salary is commensurate with level of experience/skills, with enhanced overtime rate.
