Stoke City Football Club of the English Football League is seeking a proactive and customer-focused Car Park Security Officer to join the Security department at bet365 Stadium.

As a Car Park Security Officer, you will play an important role in ensuring a smooth, safe, and welcoming parking experience for spectators and guests. You will help manage vehicle flow, support visitors with parking queries, enforce parking protocols, identify hazards, and work closely with security and operations teams to maintain high standards of health, safety, and security.

Main Responsibilities

  • Directing vehicles into and through the car park safely and efficiently.
  • Welcoming visitors, providing parking directions, and responding to queries in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Ensuring compliance with parking rules, including permit display and speed limits.
  • Identifying hazards such as spills, uneven surfaces, or congestion and reporting them promptly.
  • Recording and escalating incidents including accidents, unauthorized vehicles, or disruptive behavior.
  • Keeping access routes and emergency exits clear, particularly during busy periods.
  • Assisting with vehicle exit management and supporting smooth traffic flow.
  • Communicating effectively with stadium safety and security teams to ensure seamless coordination.

Key Skills and Experience

  • Level 2 Spectator Safety, or working towards this, with ACT awareness and BLS/First Aid is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage courteously with visitors and colleagues.
  • Friendly, helpful attitude with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to remain vigilant, spot hazards quickly, and report incidents accurately.
  • Comfortable standing for extended periods and working in all weather conditions.
  • Previous experience in stadium events, crowd control, or traffic marshalling would be advantageous.

This is a full-time position typically working Monday to Friday, with the expectation of working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
