Car Sales Executive
New & Used Car Sales Executive
Based at Renault Retail Group (Watford / Croxley WD18)
**Salary: £26,000 pa basic + average OTE £52,000 pa (uncapped)
Contract Hours: 5.5 days per week (rota basis)
About the Role
Renault Retail Group is seeking an experienced Car Sales Executive to join their team at Renault Watford, located at Watford Business Park (WD18). This role offers the opportunity to work with new and used vehicle sales, ensuring a varied and engaging work experience across Renault, Dacia, and approved used vehicles.
Responsibilities
As a Car Sales Executive, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming customers and assessing their vehicle needs
- Presenting new and used vehicles, explaining features, options, and making comparisons
- Arranging and conducting test drives
- Supporting customers through the full sales process from initial enquiry to final handover
- Explaining finance, insurance, and add-on products in compliance with regulations
- Handling documentation, payments, and order processing
- Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and opportunities
- Delivering a high-quality vehicle handover experience
- Building repeat business via follow-ups and ongoing customer engagement

Requirements
Ideal candidates will demonstrate:
- Previous experience in automotive sales, ideally in a main dealer environment
- A professional, customer-focused approach
- Strong communication and listening skills
- High organisation and Work Structure
- Confidence in managing a diverse workload across new and pre-owned vehicles
- Consistency in delivering exceptional customer service
Car Licensing Requirement
- A full UK driving licence (manual and automatic vehicles) is mandatory
Hours & Pay
Work Schedule
- 2-week rotation:
- 4 weekdays (Monday-Friday) – 8:30am to 6:00pm (1-hour break included)
- Saturdays – 8:30am to 5:00pm (1-hour break included)
- Alternate Sundays – 10:00am to 4:00pm (continuous shift)
Salary & Benefits
- Base Salary: £26,000 pa
- Total Earnable (OTE): £52,000 pa (regularly achieved and uncapped)
