Deployment: Newbury, Berkshire
Competitive Remuneration Structure: Basic Salary: £20,000 – £25,000 OTE (On-Target Earnings): £45,000 – £55,000 Company Car + Benefits
About the Role
An established automotive retailer is seeking an ambitious and customer-focused Sales Executive to join its thriving vehicle sales team in Newbury.
This excellent career opportunity is tailored for a motivated sales professional who can succeed in a dynamic dealership environment by selling new and used vehicles, while delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will thrive under performance targets, build lasting customer relationships, and maximise every sales opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage customer enquiries via in-person, online, and telephone interactions.
- Guide customers through the entire vehicle purchase journey, from initial enquiry to final handover.
- Demonstrate vehicle features, conduct test drives, and provide personalised product recommendations.
- Build and nurture customer relationships to generate repeat business and referrals.
- Achieve individual sales targets and exceed departmental objectives.
- Promote finance packages, insurance, and value-added services in compliance with industry regulations.
- Maintain accurate CRM and sales records using dealership systems.
- Ensure complete and error-free sales documentation.
- Follow up on leads to maximise conversion rates.
- Deliver a superior customer experience at every stage of the sales process.
- Stay current with product knowledge, market trends, and competitor benchmarks.

Candidate Profile
Essential
- Experience in a sales environment, preferably within automotive retail.
- Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with a passion for customer-centric service.
- Proven ability to set and exceed sales targets.
- Highly professional, organised, and proactive.
- Comfortable using CRM and dealership management systems.
- Full UK driving licence.
