Sales Executive – Automotive
Full-Time, Permanent Location: Mazda, Norton Way (part of Grainger Motor Group) Salary: £55,000 OTE

Key Responsibilities
To excel in this role, you’ll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, driving vehicle and accessory sales, and maximising dealership performance. Core duties include:

Customer Experience:
- Provide industry-leading service that builds lasting relationships.
- Drive sales of vehicles, service plans, and insurance, leveraging financial incentives.
- Engage with customers via follow-up calls, inbound enquiries, and in-store walk-ins.

- Offer detailed, accurate product and service expertise to help customers make informed choices.
- Maintain an up-to-date prospect diary for targeted follow-ups.

- Exceed sales targets through proactive follow-up and seizing opportunities.
- Conduct test drives to showcase vehicles firsthand.
- Represent the brand with professionalism, confidence, and a results-driven mindset.

Person Specification
We’re looking for someone who thrives in a sales-driven environment and has a genuine passion for helping customers. You should:
- Have a professional, relationship-focused approach with a proven track record in customer service and sales engine (particularly automotive if possible).
- Demonstrate confidence, resilience, and empathy in building trust with clients.
- Commit to working collaboratively and independently to meet sales ambitions.
Experience:
✔ Minimum of 2 years in UK motor sales (preferred). OR Alternative experience in a sales environment (vehicle-related not compulsory).
For all successful applicants, the following is mandatory: ✔ A Full UK Driving Licence held for a minimum of 3 years.
