Carbon Impact Specialist – Seedling

About the Role

Seedling empowers small and mid-sized teams to measure and reduce their carbon emissions using intuitive software and expert support. Our clients span sectors like professional services, fashion, healthcare, and technology.

We’re seeking a Carbon Impact Specialist to join our growing team as an outsourced sustainability expert—your primary role will be managing client relationships, ensuring emissionsmanagement success, and driving retention.

As a startup, this role offers diversity: you’ll shape the client journey (from onboarding to deliverables) and contribute to product development, marketing, or strategy where needed.

Responsibilities

Core Role: Client Journey Ownership (Onboarding to Carbon Output)

  • Onboarding: Understand clients’ objectives and concerns, and upskill them on Seedling’s platform and processes.
  • Footprinting: Guide clients on data collection methods to maximise accuracy; ensure compliance with the GHG Protocol, including spotting errors and documenting key assumptions/exclusions.
  • Reduction Advice: Provide bespoke decarbonisation support grounded in footprint reviews and hotspot analysis. Assist in target setting (e.g., SBTi-aligned near-term and long-term goals).
  • Reporting: Garner credible client coms via key reports and tools.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
