Cardiac Rehabilitation Administrator
Are you an organised and motivated administrator looking to develop your career within the NHS while making a real difference to patients' lives? We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our Cardiac Rehabilitation Service at UHCW on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
You will provide vital administrative and clerical support to a multidisciplinary team delivering specialist rehabilitation services for patients with heart disease and heart failure across Coventry and Rugby.
About the Role
Based at the Centre for Exercise and Health in Coventry, you will play a key role in supporting the patient journey, helping to ensure the smooth delivery of services that enable patients to improve their health, regain confidence, and return to active, independent lives. Working closely with nurses, exercise specialists, pharmacists, admin specialists, and other healthcare professionals, you will be part of a friendly and supportive team committed to delivering high-quality patient care and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Scheduling and managing patient appointments using the Trust's Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system
- Maintaining and updating clinical databases
- Making telephone calls to patients to confirm appointments
- Providing comprehensive administrative and clerical support to ensure the effective day-to-day running of the service
