Spire St Anthony's Hospital is recruiting an enthusiastic and motivated administrator to join its experienced Cardiology team on a full-time basis.
Founded in 1904, Spire St Anthony's Hospital delivers care through skilled and dedicated staff working together. With a completed £27m development investment, we provide very high quality healthcare to patients around Sutton, Epsom, Surrey and South London.
The role is highly specialised and supports all aspects of the patient pathway, including referrals, booking, diagnostics, reporting, pacing services, consultant clinics and research-related activity.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answering inbound calls, returning voicemails and responding to patient, GP and consultant secretary queries.
- Managing walk-in patients and new referrals.
- Booking outpatient appointments and diagnostic investigations.
- Coordinating and actioning emails from patients, GPs, consultants, other hospitals and internal departments.
- Booking Echocardiograms, Exercise Treadmill Tests (ETTs), Stress Echocardiograms, ambulatory monitors and Pacing Clinic appointments.
- Creating clinical orders within SAP Radiology and managing WIM worklists.
- Liaising with Radiology regarding investigation sequencing around CT and MRI appointments.
- Managing cardiac monitor pathways, including Holter, Zio, Icentia and Sentinel monitoring.
- Creating patient records and maintaining databases within UltraLinq.
- Processing direct-to-patient Zio monitor requests and maintaining associated logbooks.
- Scheduling and maintaining pacemaker clinics and databases.
- Creating and maintaining cardiology and pacing clinic templates, including future clinic capacity planning.
- Producing daily clinic lists, labels, request forms and chargesheets.
- Managing clinic amendments and appointment changes.
- Printing, distributing and electronically filing all Echo, ETT and ambulatory monitoring reports.
- Saving reports and clinical documentation to SharePoint and UltraLinq.
- Escalating urgent or red-flagged monitor results to referring consultants.
- Updating cardiology workload data, pacing logs and procedure logbooks.
- Managing Royal Marsden referrals and Echo bookings, including liaison with trial coordinators.
- Completing monthly Royal Marsden planning submissions and distributing reports to trial coordinators.
- Supporting CIMAR administration and AXA-related requests.

Who we're looking for:
- Has excellent Administration skills using different databases and systems (training will be given)
- Experience in healthcare settings is highly desirable
- Exceptional phone manner
- Having previous cardiology knowledge would be advantageous but not essential
- Enthusiastic and energetic professional
