Summary
AS A CARDIOVASCULAR RADIOLOGICAL TECHNICIAN, under the direction of a qualified physician, you will assist in the performance of cardiovascular studies and interventional procedures, resulting in accurate diagnosis and/or treatment of heart disease, while promoting maximum patient safety and comfort.

Education
- CERTIFICATE PROGRAM GRADUATE OF A CERTIFICATE OR DEGREE GRANTING PROGRAM OR POST-SECONDARY EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM IN HEALTH SCIENCE (INCLUDES, BUT NOT LIMITED TO CARDIOVASCULAR TECHNOLOGY, LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE, RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGY, PARAMEDIC). REQUIRED
- ASSOCIATES DEGREE FROM AN ACCREDITED SCHOOL OF RADIOLOGY OR CARDIOVASCULAR TECHNOLOGY. PREFERRED
- RCIS CERTIFICATION WITHIN 2 YEARS OF HIRE. REQUIRED
Required Experience/Skills
- PREVIOUS INTERVENTIONAL AND/OR DIAGNOSTIC CATH LAB EXPERIENCE PREFERRED

- HEALTHCARE PROVIDER (BLS) CERTIFICATION
- PARTICIPATION IN DEPARTMENT ON CALL SCHEDULE
