Summary
AS A CARDIOVASCULAR RADIOLOGICAL TECHNICIAN, under the direction of a qualified physician, you will:
- Assist in the performance of cardiovascular studies and interventional procedures
- Support accurate diagnosis and/or treatment of heart disease
- Promote maximum patient safety and comfort

Certify as a graduate of a certificate program or degree-granting program in health science:
- Includes (but is not limited to): cardiovascular technology, licensed practical nurse (LPN), radiologic technology, or paramedic
- Required: Associates degree from an accredited school of radiology or cardiovascular technology
- Preferred: RCIS certification within 2 years of hire
Experience/Skills
- Required: Previous interventional and/or diagnostic cath lab experience (preferred)
- Preferred:
- Healthcare Provider (BLS) certification
- Participation in the department on-call schedule
- ACLS certification within 6 months of start date
