About the Role
We believe care should never be rushed. Every visit we provide is a minimum of one hour, allowing genuine, person-centred relationships to form.

What You’ll Receive

- £13.50 per hour
- Double pay for bank holidays
- 30p per mile for travel
- 12–16 hours to start (expandable)
- Every second weekend off
- Full training provided (no prior experience needed)

- Shifts such as:
- 07:00–14:30
- 15:45–21:00
- Up to 16 hours per week
- Alternate weekends (essential)
- Some flexibility to maintain continuity for clients
How You’ll Make a Difference
Our clients rely on us for stability, respect, and genuine human connection. Your role could involve:
- Companionship and meaningful conversation
- Personal care (washing, dressing, bathing)
- Light household tasks
- Medication prompts
- Meal preparation
- Assisting at appointments or shopping
Who We’re Looking For
No prior care experience is necessary—we value caring individuals who are:
- Kind, patient, and reliable
- Comfortable working independently
- Capable of using good judgment daily
- Honest about your availability
- Motivated to create meaningful change
- A driver with access to your own car (essential for this role)
Important Travel Information
Client locations span:
- Castleford, Pontefract, Selby, Goole (and surrounding villages).
➤ Transparency about travel: No surprises—drive time will be discussed openly. This role involves driving between different neighborhoods, so flexibility is key. If you’d prefer limited travel or continuous mapping in one area, this job may not suit you.

Qualifications
Essential Requirements:
- Valid UK Driving Licence
- Own vehicles with business-use insurance
- Right to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain)
- Satisfactory references from employers or character references
Preferred Qualifications:
- Health & Safety awareness/training (basic level)
- Strong communication & interpersonal skills
- Capacity to handle sensitive information discreetly
- Physical health & mobility to support personal care tasks
- Willingness to undergo dementia training & professional development
- Experience with reliable transport & punctuality
- Flexibility & adaptability for consistent client support
