Care Assistant

Care Assistant – Required at Lyncroft Care Home in Wisbech, Part of the Country Court Family

Hours

44 hours per week, working weekends on rota (shift times: 07:00–19:00)

About the Care Home

Recently renovated and extended throughout, Lyncroft Care Home in Wisbech provides family-led residential and dementia care in a luxury setting. Led by the Manager, much of the team at Lyncroft have been with us for many years, fostering a welcoming family atmosphere and a sense of belonging.

  • Helping residents with personal support and care
  • Promoting emotional well-being and social engagement
  • Assisting with mealtimes and daily routines
  • Building personal connections with residents
  • Updating and evolving residents' care plans to meet their needs

About You

We are looking for passionate individuals who thrive in a supportive environment and can deliver exceptional day-to-day support to our residents. Ideal candidates will have:

  • Experience or willingness to work long shifts (some weekends included on rota)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to ** builds strong relationships** with residents and their families
  • A deep understanding of working with people with dementia
  • Preferred but not essential: Experience as a Care Assistant or equivalent
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or a willingness to pursue this qualification)
