Care Assistant
Care Assistant – Required at Lyncroft Care Home in Wisbech, Part of the Country Court Family

Hours
44 hours per week, working weekends on rota (shift times: 07:00–19:00)
About the Care Home
Recently renovated and extended throughout, Lyncroft Care Home in Wisbech provides family-led residential and dementia care in a luxury setting. Led by the Manager, much of the team at Lyncroft have been with us for many years, fostering a welcoming family atmosphere and a sense of belonging.

About the Care Assistant Role
As a Care Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in enriching the lives of our residents through:

- Helping residents with personal support and care
- Promoting emotional well-being and social engagement
- Assisting with mealtimes and daily routines
- Building personal connections with residents
- Updating and evolving residents' care plans to meet their needs
About You
We are looking for passionate individuals who thrive in a supportive environment and can deliver exceptional day-to-day support to our residents. Ideal candidates will have:
- Experience or willingness to work long shifts (some weekends included on rota)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to ** builds strong relationships** with residents and their families
- A deep understanding of working with people with dementia
- Preferred but not essential: Experience as a Care Assistant or equivalent
- NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or a willingness to pursue this qualification)
