Job Description
What You’ll Do
We’re seeking a dedicated carer to provide personalised living assistance to a young man with a spinal cord injury in his Cambridge home. Your role will include:
- Assisting with personal care (daily hygiene, mobility support)
- Preparing and serving meals
- Managing cleaning and laundry
- Accompanying him to appointments, social activities, and errands
- Caring for a resident cat—ideal for animal lovers!
- Demonstrating adaptability, reliability, and self-motivation in a home setting

Requirements
Essential
You don’t need prior care experience—this role is designed for beginners looking to build skills while making a real difference.
Commitment to safety & reliability is key, and you’ll undergo:
