Care Assistant – Penwortham Grange & Lodge Care Home

Location: Penwortham Grange & Lodge Care Home – Martin Field Road, Penwortham, Preston, Lancashire, PR1 9HL
Salary: £12.71 – £12.96 per hour
Schedule/Hours: Full & Part Time Available – Day Shifts

What You'll Be Doing
As a Care Assistant at Penwortham Grange & Lodge Care Home, you’ll be a vital part of our dedicated care team. You’ll support residents with their daily needs, always treating them with dignity, respect, and kindness.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering personal care such as:
- Washing
- Dressing
- Toileting
- Oral hygiene
- Supporting residents in meaningful activities, leisure outings, and appointments
- Serving meals and refreshments with warmth and courtesy
- Maintaining a clean, pleasant, and welcoming environment
- Observing and reporting changes in residents’ physical or emotional well-being
- Acting as a key worker for a group of residents, ensuring care is personalised and tailored to their individual preferences
- Supporting new team members and contributing to a positive team culture
