Willowmere Care Centre is a specialist care home in Barnet, North London supporting adults with complex nursing needs, dementia and mental health conditions. The home offers 119 purpose-designed bedrooms and delivers clinically led care within a structured, supportive environment focused on dignity, stability, and wellbeing.
Care Assistant - Dayshift, Nightshift, Bank
- £12.71 per hour
- Full time and part-time contracts available
- Day and night shifts available
- Pension, Paid DBS, Uniform provided
- 5.6 weeks annual leave based on a full-time contract
Role Overview
As a Care Assistant, you will support residents with complex health needs, dementia, and mental health conditions, helping them to live as comfortably and independently as possible within a safe and structured environment.

- Provide hands-on support with personal care, mobility, nutrition, and daily routines
- Promote dignity, respect, and individual choice
- Understand each resident’s needs, preferences, and behaviours
- Deliver care in a calm, consistent, and person-centred way
Working closely with the nursing and wider care team:
- Follow detailed care plans
- Observe and report any changes in wellbeing
- Help ensure care is delivered safely and effectively
- Build positive relationships with residents and their families
- Create a supportive and inclusive environment
What We Are Looking For
- Caring, compassionate, and respectful approach
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable and professional approach
- Previous care experience is desirable but not essential
