About Adept Care

Adept Care Homes provide residential care and residential dementia care in our family-run, Midlands-based care homes. Our mission is to help residents live enriched, happy, and fulfilled lives, supported by a friendly, caring team.

We are now recruiting a Care Assistant at Kiwi House Care Home—a luxury 78-bed care home offering high-quality residential and dementia care in Alvaston, Derby.


The Role

As a Care Assistant, you’ll be an essential part of our residents’ day-to-day lives, providing emotional and physical support with tasks including:

  • Assistance with meal times, personal care, and daily routines
  • Support in leisure activities to stimulate and engage residents
  • Treating residents with kindness and compassion, as if they were part of your own family

Your role is to create a warm, inclusive, and fulfilling environment for our residents.

Role Details

  • Salary: £12.85 per hour
  • Hours: 33–44 hours per week
  • Shift: Day shifts (07:00–19:00)
  • Weekend work required
