Care Assistant – One Location, Real Impact!
📍 Location: Gentian Place, Lester Road, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire
💰 Salary: £14.12 - £15.42 per hour ⏰ Hours: Part-time – 20 hours per week 📅 Shifts: Mix of early (8am - 2pm) and late (4pm - 9pm), including alternate weekends
About the Role
Gentian Place is a Retirement Living PLUS development offering a mix of one and two-bedroom retirement apartments, exclusive to residents over 70. Enjoy outstanding communal facilities, a communal lounge, and an on-site restaurant.
In this Care Assistant role, you'll support residents to lead fulfilling, independent lives in a warm and engaging environment.

Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily domestic tasks, such as attending appointments, light cleaning, laundry, and shopping.
- Encourage social engagement and support routines for residents’ wellbeing.
- Promote independence and dignity while fostering a sense of community.
- Provide tailored support as part of each resident’s individual care package.

Requirements
We’re looking for caring, dependable individuals with a passion for supporting older adults. Ideally, you’ll have:

- 1+ year of experience in the UK healthcare or social care sector (preferred).
- A recognised Level 2 QCF in Health and Social Care (Adults) (not essential but helpful).
- Access to a vehicle or ability to commute to Aylesbury for off-site activities.
