Care Assistant

Salary £13.10 per hour + excellent benefits
Contract Permanent – Full Time
Shifts • Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (12-hour shifts) • Weekends: Rotating schedule

Key Responsibilities
By joining us, you will:
- Provide high-standard care—clinical, social, and emotional—tailored to each resident’s needs.
- Respond promptly to emergency calls or staff requests, assessing situations and liaising with senior team members when necessary.
- Assist residents with daily activities, including:
- Meal preparation, personal hygiene, and toileting
- Washing, dressing, and supporting mobility challenges
- Safe transfer using thermal assistance equipment/special aids
- Maintain companionship and care across diverse needs (from conversation partners to hands-on support).
- Collaborate with the senior team, monitor resident care plans, and report changes to ensure well-being.
- Communicate routinely with families, friends, and healthcare professionals.
Important: As you’ll work with vulnerable individuals, you must complete a DBS check as part of recruitment. Bupa covers the £40 cost.
