Care Assistant
Care Assistant – Dementia, Nursing & Specialist Care (HC-One)
About the Role

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and committed Care Assistant to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
Working under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, you’ll support the:
- Physical wellbeing (e.g., hygiene, mobility assistance)
- Emotional & social needs (e.g., companionship, activities)
- Personal care (e.g., washing, dressing, mealtimes)
You’ll deliver heart-led care, ensuring residents never lose their individuality. Your duties may include:
- Supporting those with limited mobility
- Providing compassionate comfort to distressed residents
- Offering end-of-life care with empathy and professionalism
Safeguarding Responsibilities
Safeguarding is everyone’s duty in adult social care. You’ll be expected to:
- Recognise signs of abuse, harm or neglect
- Attend mandatory safeguarding training
- Seek advice and report concerns (including escalation if unaddressed)
