Care Assistant – Full/Part-Time Opportunity at Oakbank Care Home, Crieff
Location: Crieff Sectors: Residential Care, Nursing Care, Dementia Care, Palliative Care, Respite Care Establishment: Well-established care home for up to 70 residents

Contract & Benefits
⭐ Salary: £13.60 per hour ⭐ Contracts: Full-time and part-time options available
** rewarding welcome bonus** £250 paid after 3 months, £250 paid after 6 months

Mission: To deliver person-centred, compassionate care that enhances residents’ dignity, independence, and wellbeing.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Support individuals with daily living activities, including:
- Personal care and hygiene plans
- Mobility assistance (e.g., walking, transfers)
- Nutrition support and meal assistance
- Emotional and mental wellbeing engagement
- Follow and implement individualised care plans
- Monitor changes in residents’ health and condition
- Recognise critical safety concerns promptly (e.g., falls, behavioural shifts)
- Work collaboratively within a supportive team to foster:
- Warm, welcoming environments
- Trusting relationships with residents
- Ethical, dignity-focused care practices
Training & Development:
- Full induction and ongoing training
- Guidance for those new to care
- Opportunities for progression (functional skills in care frameworks)
What We Look For

- Reliability, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude
- Experience:
- Previous care experience is beneficial but not essential
- Ability to work with humility, be a spongelike learner, and grow
