📍 Work Locations: Work close to home in some of East Hertfordshire’s most welcoming communities. We are currently in high demand and urgently looking for compassionate people based in or around:
- Buntingford (Urgent Vacancies!)
- Puckeridge
- Standon
- Braughing
- Cottered
- And the surrounding villages and parishes
Pay & Benefits
💰 Hourly Rate:
- Weekdays (Mon-Fri): £14.70 per hour
- Saturdays: £16.50 per hour
- Sundays: £16.50 per hour
🚗 Mileage Allowance: 30p per mile
⏰ Shift Patterns & Contract Security: Shifts run 7 days a week, offering flexibility:
- Day Shifts: 06:00/07:00 – 14:00
- Evening Shifts: 14:00 – 22:00/23:00

Job Description
💙 What You’ll Be Doing
Every day as a Domiciliary Care Assistant, your impact is always the same: life-changing. You’ll support people to live independently in their own homes and become part of a close-knit, local team.
✨ You’ll help with:
- Providing personal care (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming) with dignity and respect
- Assisting with medication preparation and administration
- Helping with mobility and using aids/equipment safely
- Preparing meals/snacks and offering mealtime support
- Carrying out light domestic duties (laundry, bed-making, cleaning)
- Offering companionship and reassurance, building meaningful relationships
✨ You’ll also:
- Encourage social engagement and connection with families
- Monitor health and report changes to healthcare professionals and family
- Maintain accurate records of care provided
- Respond to emergencies safely and effectively
- Collaborate with families and the wider care team
Qualifications & Requirements

- A full driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential)
