Care Assistant
Care Assistant – Home Care (Chester, Ellesmere Port & Deeside)
Location: Areas of Chester, Ellesmere Port and Deeside Hourly Rate: £14.50 - £15.00 per hour (+ Pension + Holiday Pay, equivalent to £16.74 - £17.31 per hour when included) Flexible Hours: 20–40+ hours per week

About the Role
As a Care Assistant, you’ll work in your local community, transforming lives through person-centred care. You’ll help individuals maintain independence, dignity, and joy, covering:
Core Responsibilities
- Personal care assistance (e.g., washing, dressing, continence support)
- Medication management & mobility support
- Meal preparation & household task assistance
- Promoting autonomy & confidence in clients
- Ghost carer application (access clients' digital notes & communication via app)
- Family values culture – with 25+ branches across NW England, supporting over 1 million care hours annually

Key Requirements
- Full UK driving licence (optional but recommended for coverage within locality)
- Medical fitness to drive (if applicable)
- Must be aged 18+
- Enthusiasm for positive, compassionate care: no prior experience required (full training provided)
- Responsibility to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends & late nights
- Commitment to unsupervised work with vulnerable individuals (mandatory Enhanced DBS check + references)
