We’re currently looking for warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individuals to join our award-winning team as a Care Assistant at Horse Fair Care Home in Rugeley. If this excites you, we’d love to hear from you!
About the Role
As a Care Assistant, your focus will be on delivering high standards of personal care and contributing fully to the care team to ensure consistent, reliable support for our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Support residents with personal hygiene and daily living activities to promote independence, dignity, and respect
- Identify and address clinical risks, including:
- Weight loss
- Pressure sores
- Falls prevention
- Signs of infection/injury
- Escalate concerns promptly and appropriately
- Maintain courtesy and respect for residents and their visitors while upholding their individuality and dignity
- Adhere to safe systems of work, ensuring quality and compliance across all care tasks

We’re proud of our induction and training programme, which ensures all new Care Assistants gain confidence in their role—**no prior experience required!

- Clear, effective communication (both verbally and in writing)
- Inititaive and dedication, with genuine respect for residents and colleagues
- Ability to follow instructions and adapt to varying responsibilities with minimal supervision
- Adaptability and flexibility to cover needs efficiently and at short notice

Key Requirements
