Care Assistant
Complex Care Professional – Live In Role (24-hour shifts)
Location: Stratford-upon-Avon
Pay: £13.75 per hour (day shifts) £11.44 per hour (sleep-night shifts)
Shifts: 1 x 24-hour shift per week (including sleep-in)
Requirements: Driver required – full UK licence and access to your own vehicle essential

About This Role
This is a Live In position supporting a young woman in Stratford-upon-Avon with spinal cord injury, lived in the company of her sister and ‘cheeky tabby cat’.

Key Responsibilities
- Support with daily living and personal care
- Assist with mobility and bowel management plan implementation
- Inspire and facilitate meaningful use of her time—hobbies, outings, and new experiences
- Ensure excellent pet care and comfort for her companion
- Prepare, follow, and adjust care plans per her guidance and requirements
- Provide compassionate, kind interaction with high emotional intelligence
- Collaborate effectively with other care staff and professionals three times per day
- Maintain a positive, ‘can-do’ approach – your attitude uplifts both you and the team

What We’re Looking For
Essential:

- Previous experience with bowel management and oversized care considerations ✔ Ability to listen and adapt quickly—built for action, not bookwork ✔ Pet-friendly confidence—this is her home for the term you’re working/covering ✔ Reliable self-driver with your own vehicle
(A car of appropriate standard is required.)
