Care Assistant

Company Description

Location: Settle Pay Rate:

  • Weekdays: £13.60 per hour
  • Weekends: £14.10 per hour Shifts Available: Days (11 am – 7 pm)

Job Description

What You’ll Do

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skill base. You will join us as a Complex Care Assistant. Enjoy full training and clinical support to enhance skills in areas like:

  • Tracheotomy care
  • Ventilation support
  • Seizure management
  • Stoma care (and more!)

You will care for and support people of all ages in the community and their homes, including those with:

  • Spinal cord injuries
  • Muscular dystrophy
  • Acquired brain injuries
  • Additional complex needs

Every day will be different, and you’ll face varying challenges. Your impact, however, is clear: you’ll brighten your clients’ days while growing your skills and knowledge.

This client:

  • Has a recent spinal injury
  • Will move to home support
  • Needs assistance with feeding, personal care, mobility
  • Requires help accessing local services, both for health, wellbeing, and social activities
  • Enjoys socialising with family, friends, and their partner (e.g., going to the pub)

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

  • No prior care experience required. You only need plenty of care, compassion, and resilience.
  • Full nurse-led training provided during the role.
