Care Assistant – Southampton Manor Care Home (Hampshire)
Shift Details: 07:00 AM – 19:30 PM

We’re now recruiting for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join our award-winning team as a Care Assistant at Southampton Manor Care Home, Hampshire. If this role resonates with you, we’d love to hear from you!
About The Role
Your primary responsibility will be to deliver high-quality personal care, collaborating closely with the care team to ensure continuity of services for residents.

Key Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting residents with personal hygiene, promoting independence, dignity, and respect at all times.
- Identifying and addressing clinical risk areas, such as:
- Weight loss
- Pressure sores
- Risk of falls
- Signs of infections
- Escalating concerns promptly to the relevant team members.
- Demonstrating courteous and respectful conduct towards residents and their visitors, while upholding every individual’s dignity and autonomy.
- Practising safe work systems across all care tasks.
About You

- No prior experience is required—we provide a thorough induction and training programme to build confidence and expertise.
- Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrate initiative and show respect for residents and fellow team members.
- Efficient and adaptable—able to follow instructions and take on varied responsibilities at short notice.
- Passionate about delivering compassionate care.
