Care Assistant

Care and Support - Sandmere Care Home

Contract: Full Time

Salary: £13.03 Per Hour

Shift Type: Days & Nights Available

Contracted hours: 34.5

A purpose-built care home located in the heart of the Margate community in Kent. Our 68-bed luxury service provides exceptional levels of Residential Care, Nursing Care, Dementia Care, and Respite Care.

Care Assistant Contract

  • £13.03 per hour
  • Contracted to 34.5 hours per week
  • Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents' lives every day. This role is central to delivering high-quality, person-centred care that supports dignity, independence, and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living, including personal care, mobility, nutrition, and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected, and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive, and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance, and ongoing development provided to support your journey.

What We Are Looking For

  • Previous experience is beneficial but not essential
  • NVQ Level 2 is desirable or willingness to work towards
