About the Role
Reporting to the Team Leader, the Care Assistant will:
- Provide high-quality care to residents, tailoring support to their individual needs.
- Participate in meaningful activities to promote person-centred care.
- Ensure care plans align with each resident’s specific requirements.

Salary:
- Day shifts: £12.71 per hour.
- Night shifts: £13.23 per hour.
Shift Pattern:
- 0-hour contract, with shifts worked on a rota basis (Monday–Sunday).
Location: Fortescue Road, Cambridge, England, CB4 2JS (3 miles from the city centre).
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality care, including:
- Continuous assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Assisting residents during meal times to ensure appropriate nutrition.
- Supporting and participating in resident activities.
- Attend and complete all required training and qualifications (statutory, mandatory, and developmental).
Training, Skills & Experience Required
We are looking for a genuinely caring individual with:
- A passion for care, prioritising residents’ needs.
- Experience in a care role is desirable (though qualifications can be supported).
- NVQ/QCF Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- An enthusiastic and positive attitude.
