About the Role
Reporting to the Team Leader, the Care Assistant plays a crucial role in:
- Providing high-quality care tailored to each resident’s individual needs
- Collaborating in meaningful activities and ensuring care plans are personalised
- Following our values, including "Celebrating Every Individual"
We offer extensive Learning and Development opportunities with the potential to advance into CHAPS (Child and Adult Protection Safeguarding) positions or nursing roles. Additionally:
- Fully funded apprenticeships leading to an NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care are available.

Salary
£12.71 per hour
Shift Pattern
- On-call hrs per week (0 regular hours)
- 12-hour shifts worked on a rota basis (Monday–Sunday)

Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised care, including continuous assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Assist residents during mealtimes to ensure appropriate meal choices.
- Encourage engaging activities that promote person-centred care.
- Attend and complete training and qualifications (statutory, mandatory, and developmental).
Training, Skills & Experience Required
We seek a genuinely caring individual with an unwavering dedication to residents’ needs.
- Experience in a care role is desirable.
- NVQ/QCF Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care is preferred but not mandatory (training provided).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- An enthusiastic and positive attitude is essential.
