Bank Care Assistant – Care Home Support Role
About the Role
As a Bank Care Assistant at a Barchester care home, you'll ensure residents thrive by delivering quality care and support daily. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living tasks, providing companionship, and sharing meaningful moments with those in your care. Every day will be unique, offering varied and fulfilling work that allows you to grow both personally and professionally.
This Bank Care Assistant position provides flexible cover across all shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends, to support residents during busy periods like annual leave and sick leave.
Your role could involve:
- Supporting residents with food and drink
- Adhering to individual care plans
- Offering dedicated one-to-one attention and emotional support

About You
To join our team as a Bank Care Assistant, you’ll need:
- Experience in caring for older people (形成感や思いやりが感じられる経験が望ましい)
- A can-do attitude with strong problem-solving abilities
- Superb communication skills to bridge gaps in understanding
- Natural empathy and a warm-hearted approach
- A genuine compassion for delivering personalised, high-quality care
While no fixed experience is required, existing exposure to elderly care or caring roles is beneficial.
