About The Role
This is a casual, part-time role offering flexible working. As a Bank Care Assistant at a Barchester care home, you'll help residents enjoy each day by ensuring they receive the quality care and support they deserve. You'll assist with daily living, providing support and companionship while sharing great moments and memories—creating cherished experiences.
Each day is unique, offering varied and rewarding work. As a Bank Care Assistant, your responsibilities may include:
- Supporting residents with food and drink
- Implementing and following care plans
- Ensuring one-to-one time with residents

About You
To excel in this role as a Bank Care Assistant, you’ll need:
- Experience in caring for older people (preferred but not always required)
- A "can-do" attitude with adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication skills
- Empathy, warmth, and compassion—qualities that shine in high-quality care
- A strong desire to deliver the highest standard of support for residents
