Care Assistant – Bank Position

Location: Albion Court Care Home, Birmingham


About the Role

As a Care Assistant (Bank), your primary responsibility will be delivering high standards of personal care, ensuring continuity of services and prioritising the dignity and independence of every resident.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting residents with personal hygiene tasks while promoting independence, dignity, and respect.
  • Identifying and understanding clinical risk areas, such as:
    • Unexplained weight loss
    • Pressure sores or ulcer development
    • Risk of falls
    • Early signs of infections
    • Escalating concerns swiftly to the appropriate team members.
  • Acting with courtesy towards residents and visitors, always upholding each individual’s dignity.
  • Maintaining safe systems of work across all care tasks, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
