Care Assistant – Bank Position
Location: Albion Court Care Home, Birmingham
About the Role

As a Care Assistant (Bank), your primary responsibility will be delivering high standards of personal care, ensuring continuity of services and prioritising the dignity and independence of every resident.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting residents with personal hygiene tasks while promoting independence, dignity, and respect.
- Identifying and understanding clinical risk areas, such as:
- Unexplained weight loss
- Pressure sores or ulcer development
- Risk of falls
- Early signs of infections
- Escalating concerns swiftly to the appropriate team members.
- Acting with courtesy towards residents and visitors, always upholding each individual’s dignity.
- Maintaining safe systems of work across all care tasks, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
