Bank Care Assistant at Meadow View Care Home

Prime Life are seeking passionate and dedicated care professionals to join their friendly team as Bank Care Assistants. Multiple vacancies are currently available, with interviews scheduled promptly.

About the Role

This role is based at Meadow View Care Home in Alcester. The home is specifically designed to support 42 residents living with a diverse range of age-related health conditions, physical disabilities, and mental health conditions. Many residents also live with Dementia, requiring dignified and compassionate support. Candidates must demonstrate patience, understanding, and respect for each resident’s unique needs.


Responsibilities

  • Assisting residents with personal hygiene and dressing for the day or evening
  • Supporting mealtimes, ensuring residents maintain good nutrition and hydration
  • Encouraging safe mobility around the home with mobility aids and specialised equipment
  • Providing friendship, companionship, and accompanying residents on social outings or appointments
  • Maintaining accurate and timely records, including documentation
  • Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, engaging with other care professionals to promote residents' health and well-being
  • Welcoming family members, assisting with inquiries, and providing reAssurance

Qualifications & Requirements

To excel in this role, you should:

  • Have a genuine caring nature and a desire to make a difference
  • Possess patience, empathy, and respect for individual abilities
  • Show an understanding of Dementia (beneficial but not mandatory)
  • Though prior experience as a Care Assistant or Support Worker is desirable, full training is provided for suitable candidates
