Location: Canterbury & Thanet Contract Type: Care Delivery Salary: £13.10 – £13.70 per hour

About the Role

As a Care Assistant, your role will be crucial in helping our customers maintain dignity and independence in their own homes. You’ll assist with a wide range of daily needs, working independently or as part of a supportive team. This is more than a job—it’s your chance to make a positive difference in someone’s life.

Responsibilities

As a Care Assistant, your key duties include:

  • Delivering high-quality, personalised care based on individual needs
  • Supporting clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance
  • Assisting with meal preparation, nutrition planning, and dietary needs
  • Managing medication administration and ensuring safe disposal
  • Handling light housekeeping, including tidying, laundry, and cleaning
  • Building trusting, friendly relationships and serving as a familiar, supportive presence for clients

Requirements

Ideal candidates will bring:

  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

  • Ability to accurately implement and follow care plans
  • (Previous care experience is welcome but not mandatory—full training will be provided!)
